Damage Reduction Calculator

How much of each enemy hit gets through your Armor, damage reduction and Dodge Chance, and what that means for your Health.

Where are you fighting?

Armor gets weaker the deeper you go, so it depends on your zone and wave.

Your defenses

Find these on your hero's Stats screen.

Damage reduction (%)

Talents and other sources. Each one multiplies. Use a negative number for "+% Damage Taken".

Companion damage reduction (%)

From companions in your party or working in a town building (not the Training Grounds). These add up first, to at most 90%.

Critical hits multiply the damage after this, and shields absorb it before your Health. Random affixes, Anomalies and Breach modifiers on the enemy aren't included.

How it's calculated

depth index = (zone − 1) × 100 + wave − 1 Armor: hit ÷ (1 + (Armor ÷ (500 + 10 × depth index))^0.8) Reduction: × (1 − r₁) × (1 − r₂) × … Companions: × max(10%, 1 − (c₁ + c₂ + …)) Dodge: avoids the whole hit (max 95%)
